A Blog About Nothing

It seems like just yesterday that I was collecting my winnings from last year’s leagues. Did I win a lot? Of course not. I usually never do. I’m not one to spend big bucks on one league. I would rather get into a couple from $20-50 so my chances are better. Luckily, some of those don’t start for awhile. I have a lot of researching I still have to do. I did end up getting into a couple expert leagues to hone my skills. But enough of the fantasy football stuff. My brain is fried and it’s only July.

Here are a couple things I have swirling around my head this week:

I’ll miss Farrah Fawcett. I gott be honest and say she was a bit of a fruitcake in her later years, but no one deserves to go through the kind of cancer she went through. I think I will post her famous poster in my first blog as a memorial.

Didn’t get much better back then did it?

I won’t really miss Michael Jackson too much, but I will miss his earlier music. I have to be honest and tell you “Thriller” was my first album. And it was damn good. I’m not ashamed to say it. And the video for Thriller scared the heck out of me. Give me a break. I was only a kid.

As I sit here typing this, i’m listening to Rubberneck by The Toadies. Thinking about it, this would probably be in my top-10 of all-time CDs I have ever listened to. If you have never listened to it, I highly recommend it.

Well, back to work or Craig will come after me.

In closing, is there anyone hotter than Fergie? I don’t think so.

Great stuff Greg! I’ll miss Michael for his older music as well, especially the Jackson-5 stuff. That stuff was really bumpin’
