The GM Perspective — Week 8

10/29/2009 2:18 PM -

Back in 2005, FantasyFootball.com senior writer Andy Pino used to write a column called “The GM Perspective”. Those of you who were inmates back in the day remember this piece. It was clearly one of the best articles we had running on the site for two straight years until Pino decided to retire to spend more time with his family. The article was a basic, weekly overview of all things fantasy, and covered players injuries, news, trends, etc. It had it all. Mr. Pino, your columns have been missed.

Looking at the NFL boxscores don’t always tell the entire story. You have to dig much deeper to see which players are being targeted more than you might think and where they’re being targeted before you can get an honest idea as to how involved each player really is…

10 Random Thoughts From The Early Games

10/04/2009 6:20 PM -

The Tennessee Titans suck. I finally realized that today after watching a lot of their game. Kerry Collins is a train wreck and the pass defense is literally the worst in the league… worse than Detroit. They (Finnegan, Harper, Hope, etc.) made David Garrard look like a Hall-of-Fame QB today. Start your QBs and WRs when facing the Titans till further notice.
