Jason Avant (WR) Phi- Another injury beneficiary. With Desean Jackson getting hurt and being out, possibly, up to three weeks, look for Avant to fill Jeremy Maclin’s role, and Maclin to move up to Jackson’s role. Avant will put up decent numbers with Jackson out.

Start Em: Eli Manning (QB) NYG- Eli comes into this game against the putrid Houston passing defense giving up 355 yards per game, look for Eli to continue this trend in a high scoring affair in Houston. Steve Smith (WR) is also a good start alongside with Manning.

What I noticed from week 2 in the NFL: – Houston may have the offense to win a championship, but I’m not sold on the defense quite yet; that passing defense has got to improve because everyone knows defense wins championships.
