The 2009 Fantasy Football Season is showing itself as one that has been extremely stingy with injuries to key RBs. Some owners employed a tactical strategy, on draft day, of waiting until the later rounds to secure high potential backup RBs and/or handcuff RBs in anticipation of the routine rash of RB injuries. In most [...]

Fantasy Radar: NFL Week 9 Waiver Wire
Ryan Moats- I picked him up at 4:18 pm Sunday, and he was likely gone from some waiver wires an hour or more before that. Here are my thoughts. Moats is quick and had an incredible day, 23 carries for 126 yards and 3 TDs. I am happy for him since he has been a career backup having what may go down as his best NFL memory of his life. But Steve Slaton is the starter for a reason, and I can’t see Houston leaving him on the bench to rot.
The Fantasy 6-Pack

It is week 9 and that means it’s the last 6 team bye week, so let’s find some gems off the wire and crack open another Fantasy 6-Pack right here at FantasyFootball.com!

Week 8 Chop Blocks
It really is quite amazing what kind of withdrawals you have when you don’t have web access. But, here are my observations from around the league as week 8 comes [...]

The GM Perspective — Week 8
Back in 2005, FantasyFootball.com senior writer Andy Pino used to write a column called “The GM Perspective”. Those of you who were inmates back in the day remember this piece. It was clearly one of the best articles we had running on the site for two straight years until Pino decided to retire to spend more time with his family. The article was a basic, weekly overview of all things fantasy, and covered players injuries, news, trends, etc. It had it all. Mr. Pino, your columns have been missed.
