Christopher Owens To Remain Starter

Falcons coach Mike Smith confirmed that rookie Christopher Owens will continue to be the team’s starting left cornerback going forward.

Analysis:

“I thought he played very well,” Smith said of Owens after watching the tape. This still remains a weak spot for Atlanta after losing veteran Brian Williams for the year.
