Combine bettors back Ford, get burned by Tebow

“Jacoby Ford’s trainer told Bruce Feldman of ESPN.com last week that he thought the Clemson wide receiver had a very good shot of taking down Chris Johnson’s 4.24 40-yard-dash combine record.

While Ford failed in his quest to knock the Titans running back from his place in history, he was still fast enough for many of the bettors out there to make a score.

On the flip side, as popular of a player/person as Tim Tebow is, the bettors didn’t think he could run a faster 40 than Colt McCoy.

They were wrong.”
