Gates Now Changes Tune

After saying he wasn’t sure of his status for the rest of the season, Chargers TE Antonio Gates (foot) sounded more optimistic Monday.

Analysis:

“Ain’t no use in turning back now,” he said. Expect another game-time decision on a short week against the 49ers Thursday night.
