Mike Lombardi of the National Football Post writes that he "strongly doubts" Redskins RB Clinton Portis will resume playing this year.

Analysis:

Coach Jim Zorn seemed fairly optimistic when asked about Portis on Monday but the Redskins don’t seem in a hurry to bring him back.
