Sparano’s Status Still Unknown

The Miami Herald disputes a report by NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi that Dolphins consultant Bill Parcells talked owner Stephen Ross into keeping HC Tony Sparano.

Analysis:

As of now, it’s looking more like Sparano will get the axe after a terribly disappointing season. Chad Henne has shown no development as the starting quarterback and the running game has been in shambles. There is talk that former Broncos HC Josh McDaniels could be a name tossed around, which is pretty funny considering he will be reunited with Brandon Marshall, who he shipped out when both were with the Broncos.
